Many of today’s leading aviation artists owe much to the support, guidance and comradeship provided by three long-standing organisations, the Guild of Aviation Artists in the UK, the American Society of Aviation Artists and the Canadian Aviation Artists Association. All exist primarily to promote aviation art generally to the public and to help artists raise the standard of their work.
If you have been inspired by the work on this site to take up aviation art then membership will allow you to attend their regular tutorial events and benefit from the guidance of experienced artists.
At Aviation Art World we focus on artists whose work is generally available through the medium of limited edition prints. However many GAA, ASAA and CAAA members choose to concentrate on original art work only, so if you are looking to commission an original painting you may wish to contact any/all organistations to see the large variety of styles available.
