Climbing out through a low cloud-base over west London, British Airways Concorde (G-BOAD) will continue climbing towards 60,000 feet and the edge of space, traveling where no other commercial aircraft can go. Its enormously powerful engines enabled Concorde to reach an incredible Mach 2. During the lifetime of Concorde the fleet carried just over 2.5m passengers.
