Michael Rondot - WHIRLWIND

In a typical scene that many will remember from the 1950s and 60s, a RAF Westland Whirlwind flies a low patrol along the shoreline. In Michael Rondot’s fine rendition the Whirlwind is depicted over Eccles on Sea, Norfolk, it is a typical peaceful summers day and the crew have time to sit and wave at the holidaymakers below.
